Where the fairies dance

"Have you ever seen - or thought you saw - a fairy? Perhaps you caught sight of a tiny wing glittering in the sunlight?  Maybe you heard the sound of tinkling laughter coming from the garden?  If so, you may have been lucky enough to glimpse a magical Flower Fairy."
-The Girls Book of Flower Fairies by Frederick Warne

The garden can be such a magical place.  It's the perfect place for fairies to live.  What fun it is to provide them with their own special place in the garden.  Perhaps they would enjoy a bench to sit and enjoy the garden or maybe a pond to take a dip in on a hot day.  I thought the fairies might enjoy their very own green house.

This little bunny is one of several animals that live with the fairies in the garden.

A bench looking over the pond.

This little turtle makes his home in the fairy garden pond.

Who doesn't love a tire swing?
This little fairy garden is the creation of McKenzie my gardening buddy (granddaughter)

  3. You and Laura are way too creative with the fairy gardens. I can't even imagine dreaming up all the little details that go into making one of these. Nice job!

  4. Just returned from a visit with my 3 year old granddaughter. She showed me the playground where she will go to pre-school starting this month, and sure enough, there is a tire swing! She gardens with her mommy and loves it. Yeah!

    1. I think she needs a fairy garden. You have all winter to plan one.
