Living here in the northern part of the United States I am longing for spring and some color in my garden other than white or tan. I spent a little time wandering the gardens yesterday to see if I could find color of some sort. There are only patches of snow here and there but I was hard pressed to find a lot of color. Here's a sampling of what I found.

Evergreen shrubs are good for year round color. This one has highlights of bright yellow. |

This 'Blue Star' Juniper has a nice silver blue color tinged at this time of the year with pink. |

Yucca 'Color Guard' looks great year round. |

You can depend on sempervivums to look great after a long winter. |
